Coaching: unlock your potential

Need some creative help?

You’re in the right place.

If you’re a writer, I can help you get clear on your priorities, blitz inner and outer obstacles, and support you in moving forwards to where you really want to be.

Perhaps you want to finish your novel, decide which project to take on next, or simply make space for your creative work?

Maybe you’ve already been published, but you want to go keep the momentum going or change direction?

Are you lacking motivation, time or headspace?

Whatever your reason for landing here, coaching is your space.

I take a person-centric approach which means you get a place to reflect, reconnect to your values, explore possibilities, energise yourself, and be held accountable.

My Coaching Experience

I qualified as an Action Learning Facilitator and Relational Dynamics Coach in 2009. Since then, I’ve worked with writers and creatives, both as individuals and groups, across the arts, education, business, and third-sector spaces.

I believe in the transformational power of coaching. Coaching changed my life and relationships for the better, so I’m passionate about the benefits.

Qualifications & Affiliations: Relational Dynamics Certified Coach, ILM and ALA Certified Action Learning Facilitator, Association of Coaching Member, Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.

How I work with you:

Following a no-obligation 30-minute introductory call, you’ll decide if you want to go forwards with me as your coach or not. (Read more about what the call involves here.)

If you do, you choose whether you want to book individual sessions as and when you need them, or a five session package. You can have coaching as often as you want, or space the appointments out, we’ll talk about what might work best in the introductory call.

If you book a package, I’ll send you some exploratory journal prompts to clarify your thinking before our first session.

We’ll then work through a 60-minute online Zoom coaching session, scheduled to suit us both. Each session will be different as we follow what you need to clarify and resolve.

I will always hold space for you by actively listening, asking questions, paraphrasing or reflecting back what you have said. This helps you get an idea of what might be stopping you and work out ways of moving forwards or making changes.

We agree an action at the end of each session, or a point to reflect on between sessions. I’ll email you this and send you a link to book our next meeting whenever suits you. I encourage you to email me between meetings for accountability when you get things done.

In our final session, we’ll review and reflect on your progress and celebrate your wins. I also offer a follow up exercise for you to do in your own time to close off the process.

There’s always the option to book additional adhoc sessions or a new package if you want to keep going, or simply take a break and come back if and when you need more support.
